The journey to motherhood for Christina Wilds has never been easy. Born with bicornuate uterus – a congenital uterine anomaly that can cause miscarriage, premature birth, and malpresentation—the stay at home mom has had to navigate many challenges to give birth to her two children. 

“Nothing compares to the soul ties I share with my girls,” said the 35-year-old media maven. With 15-years experience in media, talent relations, and event production, she knows about overcoming obstacles with a smile. “For the first time in a long time, I’m reflecting on the balance between the anxiety of motherhood and my passion for the spaces I loved before becoming a mom. “Every day, I continue learning how to be a great mom while showing up in the spaces that matter most. I’m grateful for the life I’ve built—balancing marriage, motherhood to Tristyn (5) and Naima (2), entrepreneurship, and public speaking in the collegiate space. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.”

An Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt, story time at Barnes & Noble or local bookstores, the Children’s Museum and outdoor fun!

So how does this media mom manage to balance it all? A strong self-care routine. “I’m a huge advocate for daily self-care—it’s the only way I can show up as the best mom for my girls. Thankfully, being a girl mom means sometimes bringing them along for my self-care dates!”
